$500 Rebates to New Electronic Subscribers
Rebates
of $500 each are available from the Philosopher's Information Center to first time
subscribers for a new one-year license for The Philosopher's Index online.
(PLEASE NOTE: This rebate does not apply to institutions who currently have or have had an
online license in the past or are only changing electronic vendors.)
There
are four major vendors (listed below) from which you can obtain a license: EBSCO
Publishing, OCLC, Ovid (formerly SilverPlatter), and ProQuest (formerly CSA).
Prices
vary with vendor, enrollment, consortia membership, and the number of simultaneous users.
You pick the vendor and you negotiate the price. Please note that there are now five price
levels based on enrollment.
All
you have to do to receive a rebate of $500 is to purchase a new license to The
Philosopher's Index online; complete the one-page rebate application and submit it by mail or fax
419-353-8920. Please call us at 800-476-8757 or send an e-mail to info@philinfo.org with your fax number and we will be
glad to fax a reabte application to you. Approval takes approximately 60 days.
